Location privacy issue with this App
This app wants to know the user location at ALL the times, if you set the location privacy to “while using the app” the app crash before you start a work out, if you set it to “always” it works without problems. All running and maps out there in the app store works just fine with “ while using the app”, the requirement of the app to know your precise location at all the times is really an intrusion to the privacy of the user. I could find out about this only after paid for the subscription trailer 1 year. Is really not convenient that at all the times I use the app I have to set it to “Always” then remember to change back the location privacy to “while using the app”.
Please change the app working privacy settings, you don’t need to know my precise location at all the time, you need to know my location when I use your app to hit the trails!
Update: I went to a trail, used the app for the first time to track the work out and I set the alarm to know if I was following the correct trail. The alarm sound was basically on at all the times (once connection was lost) and no option to switch it off without cancel the work out, then I could only put the volume down because was so frustrating to run with it, then after about 30 km at the check point I went to check the distance and other data and found out that the app crashed and I basically lost all tracking.
One star only because the gpx files are nicely available on the app,(no reset option by the way) but not a tracking app to rely on.
