AnkiMobile is a mobile companion to Anki®, a powerful, intelligent flashcard program that is free, multi-platform, and open-source. Sales of this app support the development of both the computer and mobile version, which is why the app is priced as a computer application.
AnkiMobile was written by the lead developer of Anki and AnkiWeb, and it has been around since 2010. Beware other apps using "Anki" in their name that have sprung up recently - they are not compatible with the rest of the Anki ecosystem, and they offer far fewer features, despite charging expensive subscriptions.
Some of AnkiMobile's features include:
- A free cloud synchronization service that lets you keep your card content synchronized across multiple mobile and computer devices. This makes it easy to add content on a computer and then study it on your mobile, easily keep your study progress current between an iPhone and iPad, and so on.
- The same SM2 and FSRS scheduling algorithms that the computer version of Anki uses, which remind you of material as you're about to forget it.
- A flexible interface designed for smooth and efficient study. You can set up AnkiMobile to perform different actions when you tap or swipe on various parts of the screen, and control which actions appear on the tool buttons.
- Comprehensive graphs and statistics about your studies.
- Support for large card decks - even 100,000+ cards.
- If your cards use images or audio clips, the media is stored on your device, so you can study without an internet connection.
- A powerful search facility that allows you to find cards that match criteria such as 'tagged high priority, answered in the last ten days and not containing the following words', and automatically place them into a deck to study.
- Support for displaying mathematical equations with MathJax, and rendering LaTeX created with the computer version.
- Support for adding images drawn with the Apple Pencil to your cards.
Please note that AnkiMobile is currently intended as a companion to the computer version of Anki, rather than a complete replacement for it. While AnkiMobile is able to display and schedule your cards in the same way the computer version does, certain changes like modifying note types need to be done with the computer software. Add-ons are not supported, so while you can study image occlusion cards created with the computer version, they can not be created within AnkiMobile. For this reason, please start with the computer version of Anki before you think about buying this app.
The cloud synchronization service is optional, and data can also be imported/exported from the app via a USB cable or AirDrop.
Like all apps, AnkiMobile can be purchased once and then used on multiple devices in a household using the same Apple ID. Family sharing is also supported (apart from in India). For information on bulk discounts for educational institutions, please see Apple's Volume Purchase Program.

Ottima app, ma la versione iPhone è troppo indietro
Uso Anki da oltre 10 anni su Android e PC e l’ho sempre apprezzata molto. Però la versione per iPhone è chiaramente indietro rispetto alle altre: riceve pochi aggiornamenti e non include ancora funzionalità già disponibili su Android da tempo. Inoltre, se si studia sia su Android sia su iOS e si sincronizza tra i due dispositivi, l’esperienza utente non è coerente e le differenze si sentono parecchio. Per questo la mia valutazione è di 3 stelle. Alla fine, per continuare a studiare nell’ecosistema Apple, ho dovuto scegliere Mochi.

Manca una cosa fondamentale! La possibilità di importare da file testo o .csv direttamente da dispositivo mobile. Se creo un file con Ai non posso importarlo, è grave per i 30 euro. Il resto è tutto identico alla versione da pc. Ottimo per studenti

Worth it
After 2 years of using the pc version I decided to buy the app. And I can confidently say that it’s worth the 30 bucks. You could be fine with just ankiweb, though come on, the ui is not the best and not being able to access it when you’re not connected to the internet is a pretty big drawback.
The stats menu is fairly small, an option to adjust the text size would be nice; the calendar in particular is quite small compared to everything else.
When editing the template of cards and going to preview, returning to the code editor, and then trying to see the preview again, gives an error: “A JavaScript exception occurred”.
Other than that, thanks for making this. 30 bucks is a little bit high, but once you use the pc version long enough, it becomes very much worth it.

Bug in un mazzo
Segnalo un bug in cui la domanda nel fronte di una card è ricoperta di una patina bianca che la rende illegibile, cosicché io non conosco la domanda alla quale non devo rispondere

L’unica ed inimitabile
Ho acquistato l’app per supportare lo sviluppatore viste le tante ore in cui ho utilizzato la versione per PC. Un’app perfetta, che fa il suo che consiglio a tutti gli studenti o chiunque voglia imparare qualcosa di nuovo e non scordarlo nel lungo periodo. Grande!

iPad widget
Ho comprato questa versione ipadOS anche per supportare gli sviluppatori di questo sistema che reputo validissimo, grazie. Manca il supporto clienti per rendere l’app appetibile.
Un’altra critica pratica è che, su iPad, questa versione è riduttiva: su un tablet con tastiera si potrebbe avere di più.
PS: un widget sarebbe fantastico (ad es con il calendario di utilizzo anki)

Lo uso ormai ogni giorno da 3 anni, se dovessi consigliare a qualcuno di comprare una sola risorsa per imparare il Giapponese (o qualsiasi altra lingua) sarebbe quest'app.
Unita all'app per pc + Yomichan + Migaku (o altre risorse) è davvero imbattibile.
Le altre applicazioni (più o meno gratis) sul mercato non hanno le stesse funzionalità, e se le hanno sono dietro una subscription mensile, quindi alla lunga conviene comprare questa piuttosto che iniziare ad usarne altre e rimanere bloccati!

Grande app
Utilizzavo già la versione desktop, ma per supportare gli sviluppatori ho comprato l’app.
Non potevo fare scelta migliore, dal telefono è molto più facile inserire foto, audio per migliorare tutto.
Studiare così diventa molto più produttivo, sia per studiare all’università, sia per studiare qualunque cosa.
Continuate così!

Eccezionale, un ecosistema potente e completo
Funziona benissimo da sola, in Unione alla versione per Mac diventa un sistema di studio imbattibile, molto più personalizzabile delle app simili, per esempio qui è facilissimo creare cards del tipo “cloze” e, sull’iPad si possono inserire schizzi fatti al volo con la pencil.

Issues with the new update
I have cards that are longer than the screen (which I did on purpose to hide extra info on the bottom, that I only check in certain cases by scrolling down a bit).
But now the card scrolls down automatically. When it appears it shows the middle of the card, instead of the top like it always did. I haven't found anything in the settings that allows me put it back like it was before this update, please add this in the settings or remove this new feature.

Ottima app non le do più delle 3 stelle per le l’unica lingua presente se pago 27,99€mi aspetto almeno ci siano diverse lingue in ogni caso la app è fantastica ma spero che rilascino anche un aggiornamento con altre lingue (tra cui l’italiano) presenti

la regina delle app per flashcard in termini di flessibilità, personalizzazione e completezza. É senza dubbio la più completa, la più ben fatta e funziona alla perfezione. Inoltre l’applicazione in versione desktop consente di preparare il lavoro molto agevolmente con la tastiera del computer, non trascurabile è multipiattaforma. Ce ne fossere in giro sviluppatori brave e senza fronzonli come gli autori di questa fantastica app.Grazie per il lavoro che avete svolto.

ottima applicazione, continua a migliorare
L'autore di questa ottima applicazione continua a migiorarla, in parallelo con la versione web la versione PC. Originariamente potente e flessibile ma non troppo intuitiva è ora un po' più user friendly e rifinita esteticamente.
Resta ancora una applicazione per persone motivate che devono effettivamente studiare per imparare.
Dopo questo rilascio l'autore continua a lavorare su ritmi serrati per migliorarla ulteriormente e tiene conto dei suggerimenti degli utenti, sia nel "gruppo" google di supporto sia dando la possibiltà di suggerire e votare nuove features o miglioramenti nel sito users'voice.
Mi sembra doveroso scrivere questa breve review per rendere giustizia ad una applicazione e modus operandi di qualità.

Great !
The price seems relatively high but considering the excellent work made by Damien for years in building an excellent desktop and online version the chance to use the mobile version on the iPhone is a great opportunity. Another point is that despite being just at the 2nd release the program is rock solid and very reliable. The possibility to add and edit cards introduced in the latest release is essential. Personally I'm still missing a search option to find cards and the possibility to download other decks ... Well spent money !!

bello ma incompleto
per 20€ mancano davvero troppe cose , prima fra tutte , la possibilità di scaricare i deck già presenti condivisi dagli altri utenti , bisogna per forza prima scaricarseli sulla versione desktop e sincronizzarli sul proprio account per poi inserirli nella versione mobile .
poi mancano i plugin
devo dire che io 20€ glieli ho dati sulla fiducia e per il lavoro gratuito svolto nella versione desktop(quello si che è fantastico )
