Start cycling! Find a nextbike, get on it and off you go – any time of the day, with your smart phone. All you need is the nextbike app, which will show you all available bikes and stations in real time.
Everything at a glance: manage your account, redeem vouchers, read news, give feedback or contact our customer service team directly. To rent a bike, enter bike number or scan QR code. For return simply select station or retrieve location via GPS.
nextbike has a different brand name in some cities. Once you register in your favourite city, you can ride a bike in all other cities, too.

With this update, we provide you with a brand new set of map markers. Now it is even easier to spot the difference between stations and bikes (for cities with a free-floating system) and we added new marker types for e-bike and cargo stations.
Also, we fixed some bugs, including a bug that the activation button stayed visible after successful activation in some cases, and improved the Spanish and Romanian translation of our app.

Perfect
I really enjoy this sharing service. I use the bike basically every day to go to work. App is very easy to use. If you have any problem, customer service is very efficient. Bikes are great, just maybe a little bit heavy. Sometimes there is something not working properly, like the return of the bike, but customsr service is great!

Very bad application and poor service
Not user friendly and plenty of bugs:
- subscriptions are not taken into account (you pay twice: subscription fee AND hourly rentals)
- no clear explanation of the options, no help
- no way to book a bike
- after end of rental (bike returned and locked) the app continue showing it as “Running”
- counter intuitive interface
- if you, by chance, return a bike and then try to rent it again, the application keep saying “bike just returned” and prevent the rental
- localization of bikes is often inaccurate (also several tens of meters)

Disastrous service
The app doesn’t show the zone where you can go with the bicycle when you are renting one. I ended up parking it in an out of zone area and got fined 20 Euro by the company. Not to mention, the lock doesn’t open half of the times when you rent a bicycle and takes 1 euro even without using the service.
In general, I am not at all satisfied with their service. Buy a bicycle guys. Don’t waste your money on this app.

Terrible service
App is not the best..but surely the service itself is really bad. If you can, avoid it.
I’ve lost the pin to login, upon the reset request the app “sended” the new pin via sms, but it never arrived. I’m locked out from the service and from my credit.

The least user-friendly app in bike history!
It’s basically impossible to return a bike, you have to call the call center (they do not answer), and it’s just really hard to understand. Clear instructions needed on how to unlock and lock the bikes!

Not reliable
Bad experience in the Wachau valley austria. We planned our day trip based on the bikes. We were 5 ppl so we split to get 2 in melk and 3 in emmersdorf as those were the bike available according to the app. In Melk one of the bikes didn’t unlock and in emmersdorf one of the 3 bikes wasn’t even there, the info of the app was wrong. We lost 2 hours and finally decided to book the bikes in a local store. App not trustable.

With the latest update it's impossible to return a bike. The only way is to phone the call center. Urgent fix needed!
