Descrizione

The Eastern Orthodox Bible is a scholarly translation and edition of the Holy Scriptures based on the Patriarchal Greek Orthodox with extensive introductory material.
Only the New Testament is available at this time.
This New Testament text is based on the official ecclesiastical text published in 1904 by the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople (documenting all significant variants to the Critical Text, Majority Text and Textus Receptus). It also provides extensive footnotes.
The main purpose of the EOB is to provide an accurate and easy-to-read English text of the Holy Scriptures that is suitable for use by Orthodox Christian communities and individuals, while providing an outstanding text for scholars.

My favorite bible app

I’ve been using this app for a while and I can confirm this is so far the best bible app I found. I really love the font, the organization of the page, and the translation. You can highlight verses very easily without interrupting the reading and you can search specific words in the texts, thing I found very useful. But the thing I like the most is its simplicity, you can really focus on what you’re reading without any distraction. I generally prefer reading paper books, but with this app I finished the gospels without even realizing. I really hope the OT will be added too, it would make this app perfect.
