Instead, my enemies are convinced I'm about to destroy the world like the dragons of old. 

The only reason I've made it so close to the eve of my 20th birthday – when supernaturals come into their full powers – is because in a desperate attempt to keep me alive my mentors taught me how to fight. Luckily, I turned out to be pretty good at it.
